Allysen has been teaching for over fifteen years to all ages and levels, ranging from children to professional dancers. She holds a BFA from The Juilliard School and danced professionally with a New York City based company for a decade, with whom she performed nationally and internationally. She is currently an adjunct faculty at Rutgers University, where she teaches contemporary dance. Allysen loves to share her passion for dancing and movement with children and hold space for them to explore their creativity. She is a resident of Brooklyn Heights and has extensive experience in childcare. Creative Movement for Kids was founded in June 2020 and provides children a safe, fun, and encouraging environment to dance together.
